Canlas Law Group is pleased to announce the addition of Philip Tuyay as a new associate attorney with the firm’s workers’ compensation department.

Philip received his juris doctor from Southwestern Law School and he was admitted to the California Bar in 2013.    Philip practices exclusively in the field of Workers’ Compensation.  He has extensive trial experience representing injured workers before the Workers Compensation Appeals Board. During his career, Philip worked for several prominent Applicant and Defense firms.  He is a passionate advocate for injured workers and their families. This experience provides him with valuable knowledge and insight that he utilizes to effectively and aggressively represent injured workers.

Since the start of his legal career, the focus of Mr. Tuyay’s law practice has been in workers’ compensation and the Canlas Law Group team welcome his skills and looks forward to the contribution he will make in fulfilling our firm’s commitment to providing compassionate, effective and assertive representation of the rights of injured California workers in pursuit of the optimal benefits to which they are appropriately entitled.

In addition to his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Tuyay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco. He is also a member of the California Applicants’ Attorney Association, a group dedicated to bettering California’s workforce through strong legal, political and educational advocacy.
